Jeff joins Coastal this season as the boys 17s coach. Jeff starred at Great Bridge High School from 1999-2003. While there, he was named GBHS MVP three times, All-Southeastern District three times, All-Tidewater twice, and All-State twice. His senior year he received player of the year honors for both the Southeastern District and Tidewater. He played juniors for TVA where he lead his teams to two 3rd place finishes and one 5th place finish at Nationals. Jeff was named to the all-tournament team each of those three years. Jeff played NCAA volleyball for Lees-McRae College. He started at opposite his freshman year, and played much of his sophomore year at setter. He then transferred to West Virginia University where he coached the men’s and women’s club teams. He also played on the men’s club team. He graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering. Jeff currently works as a mechanical engineer designing HVAC and plumbing systems for Smith and Keene. |
