RECRUITING VIDEOS
All players need to bring a blank 8mm tape (*intro can be on this 8mm tape) as well as 2 blank DVD-R. All players need to bring their favorite game footage on an 8mm tape or DVD. It should be one full GAME from start to finish. Cost: the only cost is the cost of buying DVDs. You will receive one DVD with your child’s information, skills sessions and game footage. You will then use this DVD to burn the total number needed to send to college programs. All players being filmed need to bring with them an intro on an 8mm tape (*this can be on the same 8mm I will use for the skills filming). For your intro, dress in a nice outfit (not your uniform, or practice gear), and film in a nice location in your house or outside. Follow this template: Dear Coach, my name is __________________. I am a "__________" (Outside Hitter, Setter, MB, Libero) and an 08 (can be 09, 10 etc.) graduate of ______________ High School in ___________________, Virginia (or NC). I currently have a GPA of ___________________ and have scored a _______________ on my SAT (or "will be taking them on _________"). I will be playing for the Coastal Virginia Volleyball Club 18-1 (18-2, 17-1 etc.) team this year. I have played club volleyball for the past __________ seasons and have played (list all positions). I am very interested in your program and university. I take education as well as volleyball very seriously and I feel that your institution will fit my needs well. I would love to spend my next 4 years at your college/university. Please feel free to contact me or my coach. I have included an information sheet for you convenience.
