| COACH ALBAUGH'S COMMENTS ON ALEX: | Alex has shown me some great things already this season; her desire to learn and get stronger is allowing her to improve at a very quick rate. Alex will prove to be one of the strongest middle hitters to come out of this area. However, at 6’1”, with solid ball control, Alex also gives us ability to have some size at an outside hitter position. I have been very pleased with Alex’s advancements in her knowledge of the game and her instincts for blocking are allowing us to shut down some very strong offensive teams. With continued play and physical strength Alex will continue to develop into a terminating hitter from any position on the floor. I think Alex’s work ethic will prove to be her greatest asset. It will be fun to watch her continued development and see how far this kid can go in this game. |
