Coastal VA VBC was awarded a Conditional Use Permit by the City of Suffolk in December 2006. Plans are currently in the works to renovate the site shown below and install golf, volleyball, and fitness facilities. Coastal Virginia Construction has already moved into their office space and is preparing to clear the site for our athletic purposes. An indoor driving range with video analysis and golf pro shop will be the first improvements to the fitness facility. We are still shooting for our goal of opening in 2008!! We would like to thank the local volleyball community and the City of Suffolk for their continued support.
Coastal's new facility is located just off of 664 on RT-17N. We're just minutes from the Monitor-Merrimac Bridge-Tunnel, James River Bridge, and Chesapeake Square Mall. We're also only 15 minutes from downtown Norfolk.
Coastal WILL NOT move all practices to the facility and WILL continue to use Hiltop Community Church and area schools for practices after our facility is open.
